This sweet boy’s mama was so excited for session and prepared with a prop collection that was pretty enviable!

This is the third opportunity I’ve had to shoot this family. This time they had added another little guy to the mix evening up the ratio of boys to girls. Again, these kids were so excited about their new brother. I am always amazed at how awesome the kids in this family are.  These make me smile!

This little one is a repeat client. I did her newborn almost a year ago and I can’t tell you how much I LOVE having clients call me back for shoots just so I can see how their little ones have grown, see those “brand new” parents as pros, and also see my awesome clients again.  This mom had a special request for a shot of her sweetie in a traditional Korean outfit. How cool! With the help of lots of Puffs, we got some cute shots! Then we braved the cold for some family shots.

Sometimes it is really fun getting an unexpected break in the middle of a shoot. I love chatting with my clients and getting to know them better. I never would have guessed they got married at the location we were shooting at or how very sweet they were. Aren’t they the cutest family!?

I have been so excited to take this little guy’s pictures at every stage of his development. He is such a joy to shoot and is always in such a great mood! The p0or little guy stayed happy through most of this very cold shoot and gave us some great shots.

This sleeping beauty kept me on my toes, but was such a sweet subject. Aren’t her lips perfect?!

This little sweetheart comes by her sunny nature from her parents. As an older baby it was really fun to see her personality starting to emerge.  Doesn’t she have the most perfect baby skin?

This is my first time entering the “I heart faces” photo challenge (click the camera button below the image for details).  This week’s theme is black (no black and whites allowed).  I love this one of my sweet girl. She feels so free and unhindered…dancing to the music in her heart.

This little sweetie was perfect.  The perfect sleeper, the perfect poser, and the perfect lady (no messes!!!).  She made my job look easy and I fell so head over heals that I was sad to leave her. How lucky am I to hold a family’s new little baby and spend some time with them in that new phenomenon of a family just becoming?

This was a very special family for me. There is a long back story about them (you can read their blog here) but basically the amazing mama of this baby girl had a miscarriage around the same time that she unexpectedly lost her sister. The mama got pregnant and shortly after started the process of becoming the legal parents of her niece (the middle girl on the left).  They are a sweet, amazing, caring, and fun family. I’m so blessed that I got to take the new little miracle’s newborn pictures. What a sweet time that probably is too crazy to even take stock, but at least they have these images to cherish forever.
