This gorgeous mama was so brave!  I had her sitting in the snow and on rocks. She put up with me and I think the results are so worth it!  Since I have only recently added maternity photographs as something I offer, I think I love it more with each session I get to do.

I am just now sharing this, but I love these and thought they would be a neat share. My sister found the original image of my mom and me after watching The Family Stone. She loved that movie so she scanned the old image (it was a Polaroid), printed and framed it for my mom.  Both my sister and my mom came up to Colorado for the birth of my son and we re-created this image.  I have these hanging at 8x10s in the hallway in big fat black frames.  I love them and it makes me smile every time I walk by.

All babies are special.  I love taking pictures of babies, but sometimes one is special.  This one was incredibly touching for me because this is my cousin’s little boy. This is the first newborn in my family that I’ve had a chance to photograph.  Everything just worked out for me to be there shortly after his birth and mom was particularly excited to have this session.

Introducing Rylan.

Another from one of my Texas minis!  This sweetheart held a special place for me because my own baby is a week younger than Miss Elle.  I loved the sweet ways her parents tried to get her to smile.

This cutie pie is from one of my Texas mini-sessions. I braved a rare Texas snow driving to get to this little guy and it was worth it.  He is sweet as pie and has the most genuine smile for a baby. Thanks mom, for the opportunity to share his joy with everyone!
